I found this Syracuse "Minuet" Cup and Saucer in an Asheville estate, and it was one of those patterns that stopped me in my tracks. Pretty, white leaves cascade across a blue background, and the rims and handle are finished in platinum. Very elegant looking! It dates to the 1960s or 1970s, back when Syracuse China was known for its careful craftsmanship and strict quality standards.
These have been beautifully cared for. Pour your morning tea in one, or let it sit on a shelf as a lovely little piece of history.
Saucer diameter: 5 7/8".
Listing is for one cup and saucer set. Several are available.
